This is truly an architecturally interesting structure, originally built for the RCA Victor Corporation in the Art Deco Style. The building crown is composed of Gothic spires that mix well with the limestone and brickwork that has filigree decorations in the motif of lightning bolts (representing electricity and the transmission of radio waves).
The lobby is elegant with pink marble walls, a silver leaf vaulted ceiling, and elevators fully paneled in Rosewood from the 1930's. The tower floors of this building offer fabulous light and views. The base floors are approximately 17,000 sq. ft. each, and the upper tower floors are about 4,000 sq. ft. each. The building works well for law firms because the windows are large and operable and the extend to 3 sides of the side-core building.
Excellent lobby security with elevators that only move with the swipe of a tenant's key-card. There is a package drop off area in the lobby, and the freight entrance is on 51st Street.
Internet providers in the building are: Everest Broadband, Cogent, Time-Warner and Verizon.
