Along with the rectangular floors, all of the windows in the space are operable - so when you need fresh air you have it (including hours when the air conditioning system is not normally on). All in all this is a very well located building with underground access directly to Grand Central Station and by association, about 8 other buildings from 42nd Street on the south, to the northern entrance to the Grand Central underground at 48th Street and Park Avenue.
